The procedure is detailed in there. On the lines, there are five
vaccumn lines and three electrical connectors. The vaccumn lines all
run into a single grommet which disconnects from the back of the
switch, so you don't have to worry about keeping them straight. Also,
the grommet will only go on one way due to the positioning of the lines.

The three electrical connectors you'll need to keep straight. I just
wrote down which one went where, since the wires are different colors
this was easy. They also pop up and off easily.

On the mode switch itself: There is a rubber "maze" that directs the
air where it needs to go. A spring presses against this to hold it in
place, and a plastic connector compresses the spring. Mine was broken.
I cleaned up the rubber "maze", spread some vasoline over it as per
the directions in the above PDF, and shoved the plastic pin back in. I
then held it in place with a big pair of pliers and hot glued the
sucker since I didn't have another one laying around and didn't want
to live without climate controls while I waited for a new one to
arrive. At any rate, the hot glue worked fine, my switch is working
great now.

Total time spent was maybe half an hour. It's a quick & simple repair.
