Re: [DMCForum] Question for "Vixen" Dave: Vinyl dye

As long as the surface was prepared well before dying (like cleaning with acetone) then any cleaner safe for vinyl will be safe for the new surface.  When you spray the "dye", you are actually bonding on another new layer of vinyl, not simply a layer of paint.

Subject: [DMCForum] Question for "Vixen" Dave: Vinyl dye

  Dave,

(or anyone else who may know) Is it safe to use your typical
automotive interior cleaning and preservation products on home dyed
  vinyl?

I'm referring to Armor-all like cleaners and the preservatives that
give that "wet" look after cleaning.

  Thanks,

  Rich A.
