Ah yes, how could I forget that one. So close, but yet so far. If I
remember correctly, we had a last minute out-of-town business thing we had
to take care of. I really wanted to go to that one, and I remember Walt
saying how cool the gash on your neck looked ;)

That's the South Eastern DeLorean Owners Club semi-annual meet held in
Gainesville, Georgia on Lake Lanier in September '03. I think there were
close to 30 cars this time around, and many of the DeLorean vendors were
there as well. DMC Houston even brought one of their stage 1 cars. They also
got access to the Road Atlanta race track for DeLorean owners to make a few
laps around. I think both you and Farrar said you'd come, but both of you
were no shows. My DeLorean was flattened by a Cadillac 1 week before this
meet, but I was loaned the car I currently own to be able to still make the
trip. Anyways, good luck with your car. I'm serious about coming over to
help. And you know if Bill Robertson heard I was coming over he'd be there
