Ack!  No!  You spray both surfaces with glue, lay the
headliner over the rim of the "bowl".  Then you put a piece
of plastic over that and slowly fill it with dry sand.  The
sand stretches the fabric neatly into all the tight corners.
Perish the thought of making large radius bends anywhere.
Next you'll be making body panels with that new
bubble/blob/jellybean/suppository look of new cars.
