Re: [DMCForum] Grey Binnacle

The previous owner of my car went nuts with a grey and black theme in my
grey interior. He bought black OEM floor mats, had the steering wheel
recovered in grey and black leather, installed black headliners, had a
black and grey Momo shift knob, and painted the binnacle black as well.
I'm not a big fan of all of this, and have been slowly undoing his handy
work. This past weekend I bought some vinyl spray paint from Autozone and
resprayed my binnacle to make it grey again. While I didn't match to color
perfectly, Dave is right... you'd never know that the binnacle was once
black... it looks great! One suggestion, do AT LEAST 3 coats. I only did 2
thick coats, but noticed after I installed the binnacle that there are
some spots on the rear that aren't totally uniformly light grey... but a
third coat would spiffy them up just fine. So I'll be doing that again at
some point. -Louie
