Was referring to your statement that they stretch due to the momentum of 
the car and the implication that this happens instantaneously. The 
DeLorean calipers do have a ratchet self-adjustment to account for the 
pads wearing down. The cables will stretch over time and require manual 
adjustment, wasn't suggesting they don't
