Well just look at the size of the handbrake pads compared to the size of
the
others.

If you want to play with the breaks you need to get a set of Porsche BIG
REDS and fit them to the car.  60 to 0 in a fraction of your 0 to 60...

I get the idea that DMC only intended the hand brake to be
used to stop the car from rolling when parked on a hill.  It
doesn't do too great a job on that.  Is there any other
place to mount that hand brake?  Leave it up and it becomes
a literal pain in the ass getting in & out of the car.
Maybe it could be moved further back.

This discussion has me thinking now... How hard would it be
to hook up a hydraulic brake lever that only operates the
rear calipers?  Then you could do some fun stunt driving
locking up the rear wheels on turns.
