I have 2 screws at the top attaching it to another piece of wood going 
across the center. I can see some form of glue on the inside with the 
compartment cover off but did not see any other screws. Maybe i'll find 
a magnet tomorrow and go hunting for hidden screws in the wood. It just 
seems this glue is holding a good chunk of the wood in place. If I could 
get it out, without destroying it completely, i'd be happy and could 
replace the rotten area without doing a patch on it.
