I don't know about his brakes, I think there were 8500+ variations on the braking system. My front right brake is run by a tiny leprechaun who screams like hell whenever he gets the 'signal'. I replaced the rotor and pads, but he's still screaming. maybe he's hiding in the caliper. My front left brake is run by a tiny psychic troll, so that brake always catches first.
