Some conversations I have had with people wo I respect have led me to beleive that the transmissions sold to DeLorean were sub-standard to their Renault counterparts. Our gear boxes were used in some hi-po cars in Europe, with no problems. Im sure Martin can shed some light on this too. I have considered that I may need to import one of the stronger versions of this gearbox from Europe for my conversion project.
