Did you get a deep cycle Optima or just use the regular red/gray one?
Optima says you can deep cycle the regular ones a few times before you
kill
them, but I wouldn't do it on purpose.

The next Optima I get will probably be the deep cycle variety since they
are
making them good enough now to work as regular car batteries.
