I did a -pressure test- without coolant. 

I do not recommend starting the car without coolant.

Actually, I used straight water because I didn't want to have a leak 
or blow a hose and dump antifreeze all over the parking lot and kill 
everyone's cat.

I will replace it w/antifreeze soon.
