Re: [DMCForum] CPR Rebuild

I have read accounts of people disassembling CPRs and putting them back
together without leaks or problems. Then I have heard other accounts of
people trying this and having leaks and other problems. I think the main
failure modes are clogged screens, cracked diaphragms and broken or
shorted
heater wires.

>From what I know about John Hervey, he claims to have made a deal with
Bosch
to rebuild the old fuel distributors that they don't want to fool with
anymore. But I have had really bad experiences dealing with John Hervey.
He billed me for stuff that I paid cash for at the Memphis show and then
seemed to have lost an alternator and FanFix which he claims he mailed to
me. I'm getting really tired of this crap.
