The one I got from DMCH is tan/almond colored.  It stands a chance of
being
cut and flexed over the shaft.  (No, we are not talking about condoms!)
The
one I have which came from D1 is a different material still.  It is
probably
more flexible than the DMCH one.  I can't tell the color for sure because
it
is all stained with grease and still in the car.  It looks mostly
silvery-gray to me.

The one that came out of Mike Cohee's car looked like mine (same color)
from
D1 only the lip was totally worn off, and someone put what looked like a
flashlight spring in there to hold it in place.

I assume that the original ones were a soft rubber?  I have seen some cars
where the only thing left of the original bushing is a few rotten chunks.
Maybe leaking clutch fluid destroys them?
