Travis, what kind of bushing did you do this with?  It looks like the one
from DMCH could work well because it is soft.  Did you cut it in only one
place and then snap it around?  Or did you cut it into two pieces?

The ones from PJ Grady are made from a hard white teflon and could not be
cut easily.  If it were only slit in one place and napped over the bar, it
would probably break.  Cutting it in two pieces would make a crappy job.
Darryl T's black Delrin bushings are even harder than PJ Grady's.

Erik, a bad steering column bushing makes the steering wheel all wobbly
especially when steering in parking lots.  I notice it the least at
highway
speeds.  If what you are feeling is a vibration then I think it is front
wheel out of balance or out of round.  The general rule is that if you
feel
it in your seat then it is a rear wheel out of balance.  If you feel it in
the steering wheel then it is a front wheel.
