AW: [DMCForum] &^%$@* a/c panel illumination fix

Travis, is the red module still where it belongs ?
It's a resistor to dimm the light when you turn on the headlights.

If it's not there or somehow failed, then the light will turn off instead
of
getting sligtly darker.

OK, sun's shining, I need to get out of here to show the people what a
nice car is ;-)

I am also curious about this. My car had the mod on it when I bought it
and
the AC panel turns off when the lights are on. I assumed this was the way
the mod worked (less of a drain on the battery). If this isn't correct, I
wanna fix it!
