[DMCForum] Gas and Plastic

Ok i had to remove my fuel sender to send it in for repair and i was
wondering if i used the plastic from a bottle of oil and cut it into a
circle and placed it over the hole where my fuel sender was and screwed
the retaining ring back on with the gasket if this would be ok to drive
with?

I figured a plastic bottle of oil would work because it is petroleum
based.
