Walt, I think your etymology is not quite right- I believe it was created by chanting too many verses of "fuzzy duck or ducky fuzz?" or possibly "I'm not the pheasant plucker, I'm the pheasant plucker's wife, and I've been plucking feathers my whole pheasant plucking life..."
