[DMCForum] had an accident over the weekend...

Hey guys,
Was going down to the local video store last sunday night, and some 
drunk driver smashed into the back of my car (not my DMC), my Ford 
Escort. Then, he sped off! What an asshole, didn't care who he hurt, 
cops are looking for him at the moment but it doesn't seem likely 
he'll be caught, we didn't manage to get his licence plate 
unfortunately. Oh well, the main thing is my girlfriend and I are ok. 
And of course its great I wasn't in the DMC, although I think its 
probably a much safer car to be in in an accident than the Ford, at 
least from a front impact standpoint. Anybody ever been rear ended in 
a DMC, and how good was the car at absorbing the impact?
