[DMCForum] Tie rod end frustrations

I finally received my tie rod ends from England.  I paid $130 to have 
them installed (and waited 4 hours in the cold)... only to find out 
that the vehicle cannot successfully be aligned!!!

The mechanic told me to have the "inner tie rod ends" replaced.  I 
was not aware that the DMC had inner tie rod ends... What gives?  I 
hope there is a simple solution to all this.  I'd hate to think that 
I just wasted $60 + $130 + 4 hours.  :( :(
