Since this is a DeLorean list, I don't expect you will find a good answer
here, but I'll give it a shot.

There are a lot of variables to consider... such as what make of truck, is
it fuel injected, do I know what I'm talking about, etc.  I would say that
it isn't dangerous, and if it passes emissions then it probably isn't
hurting anything.  People at shows think that since I have a DeLorean and
know how to work on it then they think I'm a trivia expert on American
cars.
