RE: [DMCForum] Some parts (was: Re: Jim's Air Filter)

Dave,

Since my car will not be a complete frame off I am trying to not buy a new
door, even though the prices came down so much. My door has the glass and
inner panels all in tact, though I have not yet pulled the door panel off to
see how badly the interior is. I am expecting to replace most, if not all,
of the internal pieces.

I found a door in the mid-west that has slight damage around the keyhole
from an accident, though it is just an empty shell. I emailed pictures to
Grady and he said that area was inaccessible to push the dent out but when
looking at my door the other one seemed accessible. He only wants $50.00,
not a typo, plus shipping which will be about $275.00 ground freight.

I know that's a long answer to a short question to say I really don't know
either. I live in Knoxville, TN. UPS reference ZIP code would be 37912 but
I live in 37919.

Thanks again,

Greg

I don't know really. Houston dropped the price to $1000 new, but it has all
of the lock bars and the glass and such. Make an offer. Yes, shipping is a
pain. Where are you located?

Hmm... more rough than I really want, unless the price is irresistible. I
have found out they are a bitch to ship as well. What did you have in mind?

Thanks again,

Greg

And you knew I would bite, right? What do you mean by -slightly- damaged? I
am on a dial up so if you send any pictures please just send a few.

Thanks,

Greg

PS - Sorry to hear about your job loss. That does indeed suck.
