Anyway, with a salvage title, you might as well swap the
whole DeLorean for the Chevy.  I have a salvage title
(Florida) DeLorean, and so far I hear that in this state it
cannot ever be made into a non-salvage title.  If you have a
way of fixing the title legally then I want to know about
it.

As far as tranny swaps go, there are two that I know of.
One was done by Bob Brandys using a Porsche Tiptronic
(automatic) and the other was done by Jim Strickland using a
Porsche 6 speed manual.

Are you interested in an automatic or manual swap?  I can
scratch up more info for either case.  There are people who
have beefed up the stock transmissions as well.
