Hello again
To Mike and James.....
My main concern with both of your replies to me is that you seem to think
it was me being stupid that I failed the MOT. Over here we do not simply
leave our cars into a garage and they tell us what is wrong before fixing
it and then giving us an MOT Certificate. It is a large garage that has
three lanes with mechanics that love to have the control over you driving
or not driving your car on the road. They will fail you on the most trivial
of things and then charge you £17 for a re-test. They do not fix your car
only tell you what to get fixed, its the worst set up in history and we all
go along with it.
I failed last year because they said my Halo lights I bought off Martin were
not road legal - so all BMW's are not road leagal then?? I had my re-test
3 days later without changing a thing and passed, it was all a mater of who
was testing me. Yesterday I was failed for the marker lights, so why did
I not fail last year on the marker lights?? It is not the point that I failed,
thats fine I failed!! But it is the point that I failed on something that
I passed last year that is so f'ing stupid.
I have had my say so let the backlash begin
Alistair.
