Hi John
Both Dave Howarth and myself have previously glued 4mm MDF board to the
carpet. It is slightly smaller than the carpet in size aprox 50 to 60 mm
boarder gap around the carpet. If you require a paper template let me know.

All.
Question 2 of 3, separate posts so I can keep the answers straight!
The carpet in my front luggage compartment (trunk/boot?) sinks into
the well where the spare tyre sits. Do other cars have some type of
backboard underneath? I have had a look at the various vendors'
websites and can't see anything obvious.
I would like to get a feel for the price of something `proper' before
having a piece of wood (or similar) cut to fit.
Thanks in advance
John Chapelhow
