Don't forget that these cars don't just come up for sale in the USA 
and the UK, checkout the adverts on the German DeLorean Owners Club 
website and the site for the Netherlands Owners Clubs.

I have seen some good priced cars come up for sale on these sites 
from time to time and although it's no garantee, at least when you 
by from a Club member you get the impression that:

A) Other club members will know about the car and could give you a 
2nd opinion.
B) The owner is likly to have looked after it as any club member 
enthusiast should, unlike a 2nd hand car dealer who's just after a 
quick buck.

Also it's alot easier to travel to Germanny/France/The Netherlands 
and collect a vehicle, at least that way you can inspect before you 
buy, and have it back home by tea time.
