My Calibra is insured for track days... but it's part of my main policy as 
she's so far modified from standard.
You'd not get any insurance like that on the DeLorean... I really mean that! 
I've asked around and you'd need a special policy. Would be waste for a 1/4 
mile strip.
It's up to the individual though - I wouldn't expect to see anything quicker 
than 16 seconds in the D (what were the US cars running?)

Would be a nice venue for a meet though.
