Next big meeting is the November NEC, but only 4 or 5 cars on the stand,
after that, next year! So Don't miss this one!
Dave new temp switches come on a few degree's sooner than the regular ones,
improving the cooling, both Dave and I like them. But they are a different
size and the water probe is bigger, enabling the switch to be turned through
180 degrees with out any danger of air locking around the probe, so that the
wires come in from the top. We have both operated like that for the last two
years, so PLEASE don't tell me why it won't work Martin, because it does.
The only switch related problem I have had is when the wire fell off on PMT,
this caused the temperature to climb ( un-noticed by me) causing the car to
boil and blow up the header tank. It would not have happened if I'd got a
new Dave switch fitted.
The only problem is a slightly different method if holding the switch is
needed, hence the cable tie.
I shall be very disappointed if you can't make it Jorden, but its your
decision.

Is that a safe solution? Just thinking about the heat produced.
Afraid I can't make it tomorrow. I wasn't sure weater or not she'd pass so
I made other plans. When's the next meeting?

Can anybody help with this little problem. I bought a new water temp
switch (the one that controls the cooling cans) from Dave and I've
just tried to fit it. The problem is the old switch is held in by a
clip and the new one is quite a lot longer and the terminals are at
right angles so the clip wont fit. How do you get the switch to fit?
Thanks,
Jordan.
P.S. KD just passed her MOT so I can strat to bring her to the meets
and events now!! :)
