RE. Work on PSO, and thou...... - Windscreen Availability -

Steve & List,

Windscreens are still available made to order, they are not overly 
expensive for a custom, 1-off, reproduction and they are available 
with the bronze or green tint.
Delivery time can be up to 12 weeks (as it happened mine arrived in 
3 weeks).

I don't like the idea of buying a 20-year-old DMC windscreen when I 
can have a new one for only slightly more, old screens Delaminate, 
and whilst they look fine they can in fact be very brittle.

Seeing that advert which says something like 'The windscreen 
accounts for 40% of the cars strength in a rollover' makes you 
wonder!

P.S. The only thing that might put off the purist is that the 
remanufactured screens lack the DMC logo in the corner, but I have 
had mine for 3-years and no one has ever commented on it.
