1.The auction was held at the factory over three days; Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday, 22nd, 23rd & 24th May 1984.
The auctioneers were Henry Butcher. There were 4537 lots which went to a
large number of different individuals and companies.
2.The Tellus Carriers were bought by a local man who converted some into
baggage trolleys for airline companies. One was bought for Eurofest 2001,
restored and subsequently put on display.
3. I have a 153 page catalogue for the auction and Chris Parnham has one also
I believe.
