I was very keen from the start not to alter the appearance of my car beyond the stereo itself. There's a goos apace for rear
speakers but it's a pain to get to.
I had JBL component pairs in the BX and they sounded great driven by the Panasonic head unit I had in it. It couldn't half
shift those 5" cones at the front. The Kenwood in the DeLorean is rather disappointing, but I guess they want you to go out
and buy an in-line too.
My fronts are JBL full range 3.5" cones - I just wandered into Motorworld and bought them - they were about £40 and the only
different is the "ears" are not flush with the edge, but it's nothing a bit of bending with a pair of pliers can't fix.
