Your very welcome to come, but how about taking your car in to an Auto
Electrician. It sounds like a chaffed through wire to me, I don't like the
sound of it. It your lovely car burst into flames...well.....

I'll be in Nottingham that weekend.. initially with the Calibra, however I
could take the DeLorean up and then pop by you on my way back to the depths
of Southern England ;o)

I'm a bit apprehensive however as I have a small electrical problem which is
causing smoke to billow from the left speaker (front) grille... I can't
trace it! Something electrical (only at night with lights on) is not happy
down there....
