RE - Door lights and door jammed

DOOR LIGHTS - 

By the time I have posted this e-mail you have probably had 101 
people 
telling you to check the door light switches to see if they have 
been 
disconnected. 

DOOR JAMMING - 

As for the door jamming problem, I have had this situation before 
where the 
door is not fully closed but won't open, this is normally related to 
the 
locking system 

Try This - 

Insert your key into the lock on the door which is jammed, turn it 
to the 
unlock position (I think it's counterclockwise on the drivers door 
LHD 
car)and hold it while you lift the handle 99 times out of 100 this 
will 
release the door. If this is successfull then your door locks may 
need 
slight adjustment to stop the same thing happening in the future. 

This sometimes happens to me because my power locks don't function 
properly, 
the interior door lock switch does not always completly unlatch the 
front 
and rear door locks without the assistance of the power locking 
system.

Tip of the day - 

Always keep a drink in your glovebox and a a nibble to eat, this is 
always 
usefull when planning your escape.
