  We just had the same issues over here in the US.

  Here is how to fix it.

  If you don't like the new ugly HTML email messages
  that are arriving from Yahoo groups:

  Apparently (from another list) this can be stopped by doing
  the following (I'm about to do it..)

  At the bottom of the "new, improved" Yahoo mail messages is a link to
  "Change delivery settings." Click that link, scroll down to "Message
  preferences" and set it to "Traditional." Individuals must change
  their own settings as there is no moderator option to do so.
