Martin can explain it better then me, but I think, amongst other 
gremlins, there was a hole in the inlet manifold.  I'm just chuffed 
as nuts that she's running properly now and has a new MOT - although 
I did notice the clutch slipping slightly before I took her to DMC 
and Martin has confirmed that the clutch is on the way out, so thats 
something else I'm gonna have to get done at some point too :o(
