 From memory, those rocker panels are held in with M6 rivnuts,

m6 are mainly used in the engine bay,an example of thoes are the ones 
that hold the left panel that houses some sort of canaster and on 
later cars the radio antena they are much larger than the m5,also in 
the spare parts book there noted as m5
