Yes it is the 25th anniversary

No, Eurofest is still going ahead. The Lotus event is not intended to
compete with Eurofest but compliment it - those who want to go to both
events will be able to. This event is being organised by the DOC for the
week after Eurofest.

Many members aren't exactly rolling in cash (myself included) and
Eurofest is going to work out quite expensive - travel, accommodation,
meals etc not to mention the cost of the event itself.

The Lotus event should be a lot more accessible for less well off
members, and has the added benefit of offering something new for those
who have already been to Eurofest in the past.

Chrispy and others are putting a tremendous amount of effort into the
event with hopes of getting us a drive around the Lotus test track, Gala
dinner, and talks/chats with various members of the Lotus team who were
involved in the D's development. I am looking forward to the opportunity
of actually speaking to those who brought the D to life, and give it my
full support.

Hi all

Not beng silly or anything but what is this event???

When is it next year?? isnt it the 25th anniversary of the car?? and 
should it not be in Belfast. I take it that the Eurofest event has been 
cancelled??
