Hi Mick
Yes, you should have side marker lights, front and back. The front ones can
double as indicators with a simple bit of wiring (must write up for the
website....)
Although it's arguably less stress on the torsion bars to store them with
the doors up ir's kind of like saying that you should take the weight off
the wheels to save stressing the springs. A torsion bar is just a strait
spring (kind of). It does lose its torsion very very very slowly. My doors
had almost certainly never been adjusted since the factory and required 2
splines each to get them perfect.
BTW the vapour container cannister is commonly called the charcoal
cannister.

Subject: [doc] Side Markers
Hi All,
I was removing the vapour container panel in the engine compartment
the other day and noticed that my car doesn't have any side marker
lights. It does have the red and orange lenses on the out side though.
Should it have lights fitted ?
Also just a thought should the delorean be stored with the doors up
to stop the tortion bars being permenantly under stress?
