Luke,
In the UK there is no specific holder, as our licence plates are longer than
yours, most people just drill 2 holes right through the bumper ( facia ),
but I did not want to do that with my previously un-registered, "Dusty", so
I used very strong "Velcro" ( as people at the giants causeway photo-shoot
will know).
You could just use strong double-sided tape, but this sometimes , slips, or
is very difficult to remove later.
Go with Velcro, I used Black for the bit on the car, and white on the back
of the plate.
It has the advantage that you can keep adding a bit more if you feel the
adhesion is not good enough.
Works for me.
