RE: [DML] Selling #2894 for 300 Bitcoins

The other side of bit coins is that they can never be confiscated. There is nothing to hack because a bit coin is an algorithm. As long as you retain the cipher you retain the coin. If you lose your cipher your bitcoins are gone.

Like any currency it can be traded and the price fluctuates.

Have you heard of good old US dollars?

"Bitcoin uses peer-to-peer technology to operate with no central authority; managing transactions and the issuing of bitcoins is carried out collectively by the network".

So if I have a problem with my coins who covers me? A bank, the FDIC? The bit police? Someone hacks into the network and I have a bit of a problem. No thanks.
