[DML] Re: Battery Charger usage question

You don't need a roof full of solar panels -- a 3 watt charger is only the size of a sheet of notebook paper. I put the school bus' chargers in their windshields, and my cars' chargers on cinder blocks in front of them (their windshields are under car covers. I didn't want to put the chargers on top of the covers because wind can make the covers billow and knock the chargers off). In a garage you could simply put the charger in a window, or lay it on a cinder block too and run the cord under the door.

IMHO solar chargers are one of the cheapest and best purchases classic car owners can make.
