Re: [DML] Delorean Owner

I agree Peter..

The problem here is that many of us are tired of the constant preaching, and proselytizing for every "improvement" Bill has done to his car. If left unchecked, new comers to the community may accept Bill's constant sell as fact. Without people on this list getting sucking in to Bill's trolling, I think it would only be a few years before people accepted that the only way to fix a neglected K-Jet is with a Autolite 2100. Bill realizes this too, as he constantly tires to point out all of the "community dogma". With short attention spans, and even shorter memory, it is easy to impact people actions when they are sitting on an expensive, non-running DeLorean, frustrated with something they may not understand.

It is probably a good bet that most DeLorean owners have done their own "customization" at some point, and many have reported what they have done along with their results back to the community. But those people are not constantly flooding the forums telling us that their modification is what everyone else needs to do... or crowing every time someone follows their advice.
