The message you quoted was my response to David, not to you. David suggested that because there were a small number of mechanically injected Corvettes half a century ago, a DeLorean owner might be able to find a mechanic who worked on them to work on his DeLorean as well (even though fuelie Corvettes used an entirely different injection system...). You and I both know the odds of that are long indeed. Chances are any mechanic who worked on Corvettes in 1957 is either dead or in convalescent care by now.
