Interesting. For what it's worth, I've given up trying to control idle with the ecu, for the sake of 2 extra wires it's far less painful to let the standalone stock system do it. It controls the 2.5 even fire just fine.

Shannon is Megasquirted -- usual CIS rules don't apply.

I believe he is using a stock intake manifold and throttle body however -- he should be able to use the brass manual idle screws to augment his new idle air valve if necessary.

Does Shannon even have active idle control? (Versus cracked throttle plates).

Irrespective, even my passive idle (carburetor) only drops ~50 RPM with the compressor.
