Oh I definitely agree I want the inertia switch functioning! Need to find out if that is actually what is jumped first of course, and why, but that will definitly get attention. The ground enhancement(s) sound good too.

If they have "bridged" the ground then it still is the same "overloaded" ground that existed from the start.

You probably won't roll the car over, but if that happens you would be glad there's something in between fuel pump and ground that shuts off the pump.

You also may not want the ground as it is now, so IMHO it still is a sound plan to do what Dave M. did and improve the ground on the fuel pump while in the same operation improving the reliability of the dash instruments.

Welmoed.

I believe Hervey is about to start selling new fuel sending units for
$89. I would give him a call, or email, and talk to him about getting
one.

Driving a 350,000 Euro armored car in Europe for a year recently I had a passenger that regularly listened to an AM station. It really helped keep an eye on my driving because the interference was in direct proportion to RPM's. If we needed to move and fast, everyone in the car knew it. You may just have to live with some AM interference. FM was fine, but I am amused that a car 10-20 times the value had a similar issue.
