I don't care what Chad does to his car (nor his reasons), but there is another 
crazy option for you guys: learn something.

I don't still wear diapers just because pissing my pants was "what I knew best" 
when I was a baby.  Now I wear my big-boy pants... and only wet them 
occasionally.

We aren't in Europe.  I'm certainly not going to put my car on a boat
and ship it to Europe for an expert mechanic everytime there is a
K-Jet issue.

We are in the USA.  2100 carburetors have had widespread use here.
Chad's decision was based on this.
