[DML] Crossgate Cable Adjustment

I don't know how well known crossgate cable adjustment is, but I suspect that as more & more DeLoreans are driven longer & longer distances it will likely become commonplace.

Crossgate cable stretching is a usage problem, not an age problem.

Shortening the cable is not difficult. It is well within the skills set of any owner able to lay down underneath his or her car. The adjustment can be made by yourself, but doing so may require multiple trips between the transmission and the shift lever.

The shift tubes can also be adjusted, but they are unlikely to change length.
