I've preached several times that if I were to go the do it yourself
EFI route I would use a ready made kit that does TBI.

EZ EFI sells such a kit that does just that.  It ensures you get the
perfect mixture and does everything automatically.  The only drawback
is it doesn't control ignition.

You can get a Jeep Kit for a little over $1700 and don't have to much
other than make an adapter to fit one of Bill's manifolds.

In my opinion TBI is the only reliable way to go for a do it yourselfer.
