RE: [DML] Megasquirt Fuel Maps

Actually he is wrong. The Megasquirt system does interpolate between cells.
I am fairly involved in that group.

Subject: [DML] Megasquirt Fuel Maps

I spent the afternoon with a Megasquirted owner. As he explained Megasquirt
fuel maps, the largest matrix you can have is 16x16. That means more than
300 RPM between each fuel value (750-6000 RPM). Apparently the Megasquirt
controller does not average fuel delivery for RPM's between table values --
you jump from one to another discreetly (kind of like the difference between
analog and digital data). That leads to things such as fluctuating idle
speed, just like K-Jet -- something to keep in mind as owners evaluate fuel
delivery options.
