[DML] Re: Trickle chargers



Negative connection to the frame is to prevent potential sparks at the battery, which outgasses hydrogen (think Hindenberg). Jump starting instructions are typically the same. DeLoreans have a conveniently located positive terminal in the engine compartment, so you can easily connect a battery charger back there with no explosive risk whatsoever. Just clip the negative terminal to one of the engine hoist rings.
